Why this Hike
This hike in Mount Kaputar National Park takes you to Swan Rocks which are some of the best examples of the rock formations known as organ pipes in Australia. The short walk takes you right to the base of the rocky formations which makes this walk so popular and is perfect for people of all abilities to undertake with a light level of fitness.
Track Notes & Overview
Starting from the Swan Rocks Picnic Area this walk follows the Swan Rocks Walking Track along clearly marked tracks towards the lookout. After about 15 minutes of walking you should find yourself at the rocks where you can stop, have a bite to eat and take in their beauty before turning back along the same track to return to the picnic ground where you started your walk from.
It is advised that you bring a fair amount of water on summer days as it can get quite hot.
