Why this Hike
This accessible walk in the Northern Beaches of Sydney is a great day out seeing Narrabeen Lagoon no matter your skill level. With a well-marked trail, great lakeside views and a vibrant trail with coffee shops along the way, this walk is a really good beginner adventure.
Track Notes & Overview
Starting at Middle Creek Reserve follow Narrabeen Lagoon Trail which runs parallel to Wakehurst Parkway around the lake on a paved path passing the Cement Works Lookout until reaching Bilarong Reserve. From the reserve continue to follow the track past Chattan Park and over Pitwater Road Bridge before reaching Berry Reserve, passing by multiple coffee shops you should reach Wheelers Park and continuing to walk you should arrive at Jamison Park. Continuing along the path you should cross the RSL War Veterans footbridge before passing by the sport and recreation sheds to arrive at the finish of the hike back at Middle Creek Reserve.
*Please note that this track is well paved and marked and should follow Narrabeen Lagoon Trail right around the Lagoon.
