Why this Hike
This walk in Crows Nest National Park takes you to Koonin Lookout providing for views of Crow’s Nest Creek and the Valley of Diamonds. This walks rolling hills and grand views are certainly worth the hike and if you are in the area make sure to add this one to your to do list.
Track Notes & Overview
Starting from Crows Nest Picnic Area (Near the Public Toilet) follow the walking track towards Koonin lookout avoiding a turn off on the right hand side of the trail. At the 1 kilometre mark you will reach another intersection, head straight ahead to see Crows Nest Falls Lookout before returning back to the intersection and taking the left you previously avoided. Keep following this track until reaching Koonin Lookout where you can admire the views of the entire area. From here return back along the trail that took you to the lookout to complete the hike.
