Why this Hike
This short but yet steep walk to the summit of Hollow Mountain is one of the best kept secrets in the Grampians. This trail is in a very overlooked part of the Grampians National Park which takes you to the summit of Hollow mountain and provides views of an expansive area including Mount Stapylton. This walk is very steep and is best for experienced bushwalkers who have planned ahead before deciding to undertake it.
Track Notes & Overview
This walk starts from Hollow Mountain Carpark from which you should find the trail which is well marked with arrows along it's entire length. Along the trail you should see multiple cave and overhangs that make this hike so special and at the summit you should see breathtaking views of the local area. On your way up to the summit some rock scrambling is required and once you are ready to head home simply return back down the path that took you to the summit.
