Why this Hike

This walk in Victoria’s east is a perfect day out for hikers of all kinds and includes beautiful lush forests with towering trees. Along the walk you should have plenty of opportunities to see local wildlife such as Lyrebirds, Wombats, Wallabies, Possums and many more native animals.

Track Notes & Overview

The circuit walk starts from Grants Picnic Ground and follows Lyrebird walk through the mostly flat forest trail, this will meet up with Neumann Track and a few hundred metres more you will start to descend down Paddys Track across Hardy Creek before climb up on Welch Track to meet up with Coles Ridge Track. After this there is another smaller climb back to the picnic ground to complete your walk.
