Why this Hike
This hike in the Bunyeroo Valley follows a square shaped circuit around creeks, through open woodland and around rocky patches. Included in this walk is a fantastic view from Bunyeroo Lookout along with plenty of adventure on the way up and down from this lookout. If you want to explore South Australia then this area in the flinders ranges is a must visit.
Track Notes & Overview
Starting from Bunyeroo Carpark, this hike follows a short section of Bunyeroo Road for about 1.5KM before turning off onto the main track that follows Bunyeroo Creek which you will follow for the duration of the hike. Shortly after starting to walk this trail you will meet a junction, turn right towards Bunyeroo Lookout which will be about 2.5KM further down the track. Once reaching the lookout (on a small side track from the main trail) admire the view before returning to the main trail to continue walking. Keep following the trail turning right at two junctions ahead of you before returning to the carpark where you started your hike.
*Please note that a park pass is required before hiking here and can be purchased through Parks South Australia.
