Why this Hike
This hike in Bowling Green Bay National Park is a fantastic walk along Alligator Creek past the viewing area and to the Falls Lookout. This return hike is not easy but is the perfect challenge for hikers looking for a whole day of adventure in the Australian bush and along beautiful rock faces with cascading falls.
Track Notes & Overview
Starting at Alligator Creek Campground this hike follows Alligator Creek Falls Track along Alligator Creek, shortly after commencing the walk you should reach the Creek lookout (not the falls lookout) which can give a nice little view of the creek. After leaving this viewing area keep following the track which should remain relatively flat until reaching the walk to the falls where you will need to make a bit of a climb to reach the lookout. After reaching the falls and lookout take some time for a break and allow yourself to take in the views before returning back along the same track to complete the walk.
