Why this Hike
This hike in Sydney’s Blue Mountains is a stunning hike showing you both the view from the mountain ledge and from the canyon base. The walk starts at Grand Canyon Loop Carpark this hike follows a short 6KM trail which follows Greaves Creek for most of its duration is certainly worth it but is best avoided after heavy rain or large storms.
Track Notes & Overview
Starting from Grand Canyon Loop Carpark, follow the track adjacent to Evans Lookout Road until reaching the Carpark at the top of the road. From here walk along the well vegetated trail to Evans Lookout allowing for stunning views before continuing to walk along the Grand Canyon Walking Track following the loop. About 1.5 Kilometres down the track you will find a turn off on the left hand side which takes you to Beauchamp Falls (about 600m there and back) which is a good little addition to the hike if you are looking for a little more in the area. After this turn off you will pass over a bridge and under a tunnel before passing through Neates Glen. About 500 metres further you will reach another Carpark, from here turn right and follow the road until reaching Grand Canyon Loop Carpark (the end of this hike).
